SanTan Sun abbreviates the day of the week following by a period and comma, then abbreviates the month. For times within the morning or evening, you can use 9 to 11 a.m. or 7 to 9 p.m. For hours that go across morning and afternoon or evening, use this style: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., using periods between the a.m. and p.m. If the time is on the hour, you do not have to use :00 (ex: 1 to 3 p.m.;) Only use the minutes when it’s something between :01 and :59, (ex 9:30 a.m.). If it’s noon or midnight, write “9 to noon” or “10 to midnight.”
